Karen Aznoian, PCC
The birth of Aznoian Leadership Development
In 2001, after many years of working as a senior leader consulting to executives within an organization, business travel made me an eye witness to the unfolding events of 9/11 in NYC.
This profound experience inspired me to pursue, without delay, my dream of creating a consulting practice, dedicated to working with people in a more personal and transformative way.
Since then, Aznoian Leadership Development has been dedicated to the evolution of leaders for the sake of achieving sustainable change.

Powerful results at work—and beyond.
Sustainable change means attending to the whole of our lives, which includes our roles at work. Work is not our entire lives nor is it separate. I use a proven, innovative blend of personalized assessment and masterful coaching through which I have helped hundreds of leaders create transformative results.
My clients develop the presence to respond effectively and grow more resilient.
They become more aware of their own power and privilege and more directed on outcomes. They find the place where they can collaborate more effectively with team members. They appreciate my unyielding commitment to getting results.
My work draws on 25+ years experience in senior leadership roles.
I have a passion for leading complex organizational change initiatives through a combination of skillful coaching and deep business competence. My clients have included leaders and executives in Fortune 100 companies, national media outlets, healthcare, and more.
In addition to holding a BS in Business & Psychology, I am a Certified Integral Coach® from New Ventures West in San Francisco, where I now serve as senior faculty and board member.
Attending to my own development is essential to supporting you in yours.
It has put me in contact with powerful modalities and wisdom traditions that I apply in my work.
In my personal life, I practice what I teach. I understand the complexities of balancing meaningful work, parenting and community involvement. I am committed to giving back, whether by integrating underserved populations into the community, supporting veterans and incarcerated individuals, or tending to nature in my garden.
These days my most powerful practice is one of earthing: standing barefoot on the grass, or sand, or dirt, gazing at the vastness of the ocean or the sky: a vital reminder of the vastness of the world and our place in it.
My place in the world is in New England, where I live with my husband. I also have two grown sons.
